The ocean and you: What you can do to protect our Blue Lung
*This event is hosted at the EEB One Planet Pavilion.
Organised by Seas at risk
Millions of us live beside the sea. It provides us with an immense wealth of food, resources and pure enjoyment. It also provide us with more than half of the oxygen we breathe, it is Our Blue Lung.
Today, however, we’ve become the ocean’s worst enemy, by overexploiting entire populations of fish, dumping tons of plastics overboard and spilling chemicals and fertilisers into the ground and rivers, and making so much noise in the ocean whales lose their bearings.
But it doesn’t have to be that way! Come and find out what you can do every day to make our ocean better!
