Festival Launch with EMI president Eva Maydell, Mayor of Texel Michiel Uitdehaag, comedian Andrew Maxwell and solo set by Amber Arcades

DEMOCRACY ALIVE will kick off at the main pavilion on Thursday 11 April at 14:00.

Guests will be welcomed by Texel's Mayor, Michiel Uitdehaag, and Eva Maydell, MEP and President of the European Movement International.

In true festival spirit, the opening will feature a stand-up set from Irish comedian Andrew Maxwell and a solo set from Dutch singer Amber Arcades.
